What is the hanging weight of a beef and how much meat do I get?

I am still figuring out what an average is for me. A whole beef hanging weight for me is around 450 - 600 lb. Once it is cut up, you usually get about 60% of the hanging weight. A 550 lb. hanging weight beef would get you about 330 lb. of cut meet.

How much meat do I get from a whole pig?

The hanging weight of a pig is around 200-300 lb. A pig usually yields about 75% of the hanging weight.

What does your chicken weigh?

Our chickens often weigh around 3.5 -5.25 lb. dressed.

What is the processing fees?

Processing is $.68 per lb. with a $80 kill fee and $20 disposal fee for beef and $.68 per lb. with a $40 kill fee and $10 disposal fee for pork.
